Close But No Cigar

The Detroit Lions looked really good in their first game of the season against the defending NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks. Altogether they didn't pull out a win they have to be happy with the way their defense played especially.

The Detroit Lions will have to adjust to a new coaching staff if they are going to be successful this upcoming season. The players have already began the process with a solid effort. With the new coach comes new hope that the Lions will be a winning team this year.

New head coach Rod Marinelli has an intense attitute that should challenge all his players to live up to their maximum potential.
